Such delicious fish & chips, the best in the area. Steve & Cathie do a really high quality product - we had the burgers along with the chippies - really flavoursome. High quality product and high quality people - make this your local 🐠🍟

Ordered for the first time last night for an early dinner. Excellent. Delicate fish (battered blue grenadier), crunchy potato cake, huge freshly made onion ring. Perfectly cooked chips and a lightly battered sweet banana fritter. This will be our go to fish and chips. It’s a small business so ring up to order and bring cash

I heard about this place through my friend group and while some of my friends lack taste buds I ventured into the picturesque suburb of Eltham to experience this establishment for myself. I was pleasantly surprised and as a kiwi we pride ourselves on our fish and chips back home. The owners are so welcoming and accommodating. When you walk into this establishment you are not just another customer, you are seen and heard. The food is amazing, the fish is moist and not dry and you can see that they take pride in everything they do here! For me the star of the show were the chips and the onion rings! My goodness those onion rings are next level. There’s plenty of parking and the premises are so clean that you could be mistaken that the store was newly opened but upon speaking to the owners I am advised the establishment has been successfully operating for at least 2 years and with the food they are pumping out there? They will be successfully operating for many more years to come. May Steve Cathy and have all the prosperity they deserve because this place has surpassed all my expectations and I will be returning! Our go to fish and chippery in Eltham. Not sure if any of the others have gluten free items, but Eltham woods does and that works for mum. They package the regular potato cakes and dim Sims seperately, so that is a nice touch.
Only feedback would be, to have the menu/prices updated for when folks do a google search.
